So here it is, 2 years ago my wife came up with the idea for a YouTube channel called Grump Old Hams. Oh, it was amazing and we where talked about a lot. But, sometimes things don't last and you have to move on to new and better things. So, after a while, we were getting some publicity, but things started to get bad, They started the QRMer'sstarted to use the recording, and QRM 3927 and a lot of the QRMer's were coming from 7200, and that became a big NO NO for us. Many hams started thinking we was the one's QRMing and that was not the case.

Then we started to be hated by a few of the operators from 3927 because we recorded and posted a video from 7200 and they did not have it. So we started going downhill from there and it was a shame that we were made out to be the bad guys when all my wife wanted to do was build a YouTube channel and use the funding from there to help needy hams that needed repairs or equipment.

The videos took a lot of time and work to make including Lype syncing the recorded audio cutting each person's audio and adding it to the specific character and it was casting many to do that. So, as of 12/13/24, we had to stop with the ham recordings because it took a lot of time to make a 10-minute video and money to edit it. So AI started getting better and easier to edit and make videos in less time, and that's where grumpy old hams have transformed to mostly AI content.
